Education
Pactel offers a range of interactive learning solutions via satellite, delivering education to isolated and remote areas. Recently, Pactel International developed a Distance Education program in the Solomon Islands by equipping distance learning centres in multiple rural villages with broadband Internet through a newly established VSAT network. This project has significantly increased the number of Interactive Distance Learning lessons available in remote locations, so that students could interact more directly with teachers and peers. Through this project Pactel International again proved its ability to design, manage and customise a solution that meets their target market’s needs.
Military/Defence
Pactel provides military satellite communications by offering the fastest, most flexible solutions for increasing bandwidth capacity and mission-critical application delivery. Our military communications solutions are customised to provide extra reliability and higher performance to meet challenges specific to this sector, such as adverse environmental and weather conditions, error-intolerance and constant mobility.
Telemedicine
Telemedicine allows for access and analysis of complex medical data from various locations around the world. Storage and transmission of data (real-time and "store & forward"), voice communications, video conferencing and network computing are all key components of the telemedicine infrastructure. Pactel International uses an integration of their advanced Satellite, VoIP and GSM networks to provide VSAT, SCPC (Both Point to Point and Star), Voice, Video Conferencing, and 24/7 Remote Network Monitoring solutions that specify the basis for telemedicine.
